It’s my favorite sale of the year once again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale marks down new items for the upcoming fall season instead of getting them marked down after the season is over. So you can actually wear the fall fashion during fall!
Below are my picks for this year’s sale. My list is very different this year since I’m pretty limited in what I can wear in the coming months after giving birth. Some of these, especially the bottoms, I won’t even be able to wear until much later… but a new category I’m shopping was the baby department!

What I got

Most of my cart was definitely tops since I couldn’t really wear jeans anytime soon. Besides I need a lot of flowy and loungey tops for postpartum in general. I didn’t buy too many things this year, but I did finally splurge on the All Saints leather jacket I’ve been eyeing for a couple sales now. I usually get a coat or two for each sale (because I’m a sucker for coats), but since the ones I liked sold out, I thought this is finally the sale to get the leather jacket! Besides, who are we kidding, I already have a lot of coats…
My favorite purchase this year, besides the leather jacket, was the matching set from Open Edit! So cozy and comfortable. It fits and stretches really well even over my 8-month belly. The other purchase I really loved is the BDG top. I got it from last year’s sale, so I knew I had to get the new ones from this year! They’re so comfortable, soft, and flattering.
I also purchased another one of the halogen long-sleeve tops that I’ve been buying every year, this time in the new tan color! You can find my previous sale’s purchases in last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blog post.
A few things I wanted sold out really quick, even online! I did shop in person for most of my cart though. Wanted to try them on since my sizing is a little different this year. I also went with Patryk so he can try stuff on – he’s definitely an in-store shopper unlike me. That part was fun; I enjoy when he goes shopping with me! He picked up mostly athleisure from Zella since he works out regularly and loves their stuff. He also got an All Saints shirt and a couple other dressier items. Who would have thought he would take longer than me to shop?! Not sure if I should be proud of him or myself for that!
