You’ve seen the things I want to buy at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, now I’m sharing the things I’ve previously purchased and excited to recommend! Many of these items have been in the sale for the last 2-3 years (at least), with a few new items, which I constantly use and/or love so much I’ve already repurchased since. With that said…

My Nordstrom Sale Recommendations
Clothing

SPANX® Faux Leather Leggings (available in Regular & Petite) $64.90 $98.00
It wouldn’t be a Nordstrom Sale Recommendations post without these Spanx leggings! I would buy these pants every year during the sale, but I never have to because they’re such great quality they actually last! I wear these pants so much in the fall, and sometimes into winter. So while they’re not necessarily that affordable, you definitely get what you pay for with these Spanx Faux Leather Leggings.

BLANKNYC Faux Leather Moto Jacket $59.99 $98.00
I bought one of these BLANKNYC Faux Leather Jackets two Nordstrom Sales ago to replace a really old leather jacket from high school (that’s a long time ago…). I still wear mine so often in the colder months, and I took it with me on vacation to Europe last month too! It’s a staple in my closet for sure. It comes in black and a brown option, and it’s priced so well for its quality!

Halogen® Long Sleeve Tee $24.90 $39.00
This basic long sleeve tee is definitely a year-round staple for me. It’s thin enough to be comfortable in the warmer months and to layer with in the colder months. I have every single color of this shirt (except the stripes, not a fan) and wear them with everything. Why do I spend a little more on a basic long sleeve tee? You’ll just have to feel the material for yourself. It’s so darn soft, lightweight, and comfortable. Just try it on 😉

Levi’s® Wedgie High Waist Crop Straight Leg Jeans $64.90 $98.00
I mean there’s not much I need to say about Levi’s jeans. They just have classic and great quality jeans. It took me a while to finally try them out because how good can they really be, right? They’re not cheap. Well, snagged a couple pairs on sale last year and they’re pretty much most of my denim at this point. They have different fits and lengths, but the Wedgie is one of my favorites at the moment. They’re relaxed below the hips, but hugs your waist and hips nicely. I would advice to try them on in person though (I know, I hate trying on jeans too…) because the styles fit differently. I find myself sizing up one on the Wedgie!

Hanky Panky Underwear $16.90-$25.90 $22.00-$39.00
Victoria’s Secret who?! If this is awkward for you to read on my blog, I’m not apologizing because you need these. I literally will toss all my undies to replace them with Hanky Panky’s. The only reason I haven’t is because they’re not cheap. That’s why I pick up a couple every time they go on sale. The crazy thing about these undies is that they’re so comfortable and stretchy, they only come in one size! I was skeptical about that at first, but since I tried them, I’m not getting any other underwear brand.
Shoes

Vince Camuto Gwelona Ankle Bootie $110.99 $159.95
Similar boots have been a regular in the Nordstrom Sales, and they have an updated one every year it seems. I bought mine two sales ago in two colors and still wear them! They’re as comfortable as heeled booties can be, but that’s obviously all relative 🙂 If you’re not a heels person, you may not agree with the comfort! Haha. They’re your non-basic “basic fall bootie” with the cut-out detail and the pointed toe.

Hunter Original Refined Rain Boot $123.99 $185.00
Gosh, I don’t remember the last time I saw someone recommend Hunter boots! They were trendy years ago, but they’re almost a necessity if you live somewhere where it rains a good amount. I never needed them living in California, but I needed them since moving to Chicago. I’ve had mine for 9 years and I still love them so much! They still look great, and I don’t see them getting worn out anytime soon. I love my Hunters especially for when I’m commuting in the rain, and it’s been so helpful in keeping my feet warm in the rainy fall days. I never have to worry about my pants getting soaked!

Nike Free Metcon 4 Training Shoe $95.99 $120
I’m not a sneakerhead so I only really own gym shoes and walking shoes for function. I raved about these Nike training shoes in one of my first blog posts: My Workout Must-Haves. If you’re into weight training and are looking for new shoes that provide the perfect balance between flexibility and stability, and want to get them on a discounted price, the Free Metcon’s from the sale are for you. They provide great stability for lifting, but they’re not too stiff for when you need to do fast movements. That always bothered me about training shoes until I found these!
Beauty

Riki Loves Riki RIKI 10X Skinny Lighted Mirror $150 $230
Alright, this is honestly one of my favorite things that I own – ever. Personally, I can say it’s not the most perfect mirror for your vanity (they have other models for that). However, if you don’t have a huge getting ready area, move your mirror around a lot, and need fantastic lighting – you’ll love this mirror. It’s definitely pricey, but so worth it. My favorite things about this mirror: the lighting is amazing (and bright), it has a magnet for your phone holder and a magnification mirror, and it’s a great size for being a portable mirror! I always bring my Riki every time I travel, and I think this is the advantage it has over any other light-up mirror on the market. There’s other brands that are more compact to travel with, but the mirror is just too small! It comes in white and rose gold.

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Essentials Palette, NSale Exclusive Shade $68
And we are back to raving about Hourglass. If you’ve read my older posts, you know how much I love Hourglass, especially their face products. Their Ambient Lighting Palette is one of their best-sellers. This year’s NSale has an exclusive combination of Ambient Lighting shades. Sadly, it’s not necessarily marked down from it’s high-end price of $68, but if you’ve been wanting to try this palette, this sale’s beauty exclusive may interest you! This palette comes with a finishing powder, blush, and bronzer. My favorite thing about these palettes is how flawless and lit-from-within it finishes your face makeup, and it never looks powdery!

ghd Soft Curl 1 1/4-Inch Curl Iron $133 $199
Another regular on my blog is my GHD Soft Curl curling iron. I’ve had this for around two years, and this is the lowest price I’ve ever seen it! If you’ve been on the fence about this specific curling iron because of the price, now is the time to try it. Why I love this iron: it never snags my hair (most irons do!), makes my hair super soft and shiny when I use it, and it heats up super fast!
Things sell out so quickly at the NSale, but things always come back in stock, so keep checking back during the sale if you missed anything! I’ll be covering the rest of the sale and will be doing a try-on haul on my Instagram stories, so follow me on IG if you’d like to see more NSale content. Happy shopping!
